RE: Best pokemon music
One of the sickest jazzy pianos I've heard. Such an underrated song but so damn good. Love the piano.

Pikachu is my favorite character and I love the "Cute Pikachu Song" very much. This song made me to become a big fan of the Pikachu. Such a nice music, that song made me to cry. I really love it, its very cute .

RE: Best pokemon music
my favorite generation in terms of best music is gen 3. my top 5 would be
1. Elite 4 Battle Theme

LETS DO THIS SHIT

2. Vs. Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza

DAT TIMPANI

3. Vs. Frontier Brain

I WAS BORN FOR THIS

4. Vs. Deoxys

SPAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCEEEEEEE!

5.VsRegirock/ice/steel

THAT FUCKING REGICE!

honorable mentions: Route 111 desert, Slateport City, End Credits, Champion theme and gym leader battle.
(as you can see, i loved the battle themes of this generation) THIS IS THE MUSIC OF MY CHILDHOOD! technically i started with gold, but i played ruby and emerald SO MUCH MORE, so to me, gen 3 was my first pokemon gen. i wouldn't have wanted to start with any other gen, with music this epic
