Here's a thread for you, what words really irritate you when people say them, or how people say them, such as when someone unnecessarily uses filler words such as "like" or "um" several times per sentence.

Lately the absurd increase in the use of "literally" is really annoying me, even fucking teachers are saying it a lot, sort of like it's an infection or something.
Please tell me someone else has read Snow Crash
Like... She literally exploded. Or... That fire is literally hot.

Yeah, I agree. It's annoying.

-The words "real" and "talk" together

-Obnoxious is kinda Obnoxious

-Autism and autistic

*-"..."

*Not really a word, but it's so obnoxious when someone tries to express their silence in a text box.

That sounds like someone who comes from GameFAQ's. Especially around NGG. Real Talk is used quite a lot over there. And people try to use autism/autistic as an insult. Oi!

Mine have already been said.
Mainly literally. It literally pisses me.

YOLO.

I swear, if anyone said that in my presence I would slap the foo'.

The one thing that I have seen since I was like 13 or so is the who '...' after a word. I know some animes and mangas show that to express an emotion but please STOP USING IT.

I try and talk to a friend about how things are going and this is the response I get: "It's okay..." or "Same old, same old..."

JUST FREAKING SAY WHAT'S TROUBLING YOU!

I hate it when people say "Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like" it's kind of annoying.

Reminded me of this. I love this game!

1.20 is your point exactly! XD

That boss fight was golden. I loved that game to death.

I find "literally" obnoxious.

I hate when people say "loose" when they mean "lose".

I hate simple misspelling altogether.

I wouldn't point the finger at a certain word, but rather to its usage by someone.
Different words out of different mouths have a different effect.

Personally, I'm tired of hearing "overrated" and "underrated". I can't say enough about how misused they are.
