And by "help me" I mean give me a good luck charm or break my curse.

Also yays for cats. I could do with a cat too.

Listen to the whole thing. It gets progressively better Smile

RE: The Free Thread
I went out to buy some plasters this morning (because I broke a knife this morning and it made a last stand against my thumb). I came back and Bubbles was nowhere to be seen. That's not too worrying, there are many places she could be hiding. After about 10 minutes, I hear a rustling coming from under my bed - I pull the bed away from the wall and see Bubbles, who had climbed over the top of my bed, fallen down behind it and was now underneath with no exit. Poor Bubbles clambered back onto the bed and ran off towards her saucer of milk.

Also, last night I was falling asleep with my bedroom door open. I was lying on my back and suddenly I feel Bubbles right next too me, having ninja'd from thin air (I sleep with earplugs (because my roomates are immature douchebags) so I don't hear much, let alone the pitter patter of a cat). Then Bubbles decides it's a good idea to curl up on my chest and purr like a pneumatic drill. When trying to fall asleep, nothing is less sleep-inducing than "PRRRRRRRRRRRRRR". Still, the cat was happy and I eventually fell asleep so it's all good Smile

RE: The Free Thread
Oh, I know all about being able to not sleep due to a cat being a cat. Simon wakes me up so he can get food. Do I give it to him? No. Because I'm tired and he needs to leave me alone. I don't wake him him during his (many) sleeps. He should leave me alone.

But seriously, when I do actually wake up, I give him his food and water if he needs it. Then he's back to being happy.

What you need is a system wherein you have food behind a trapdoor, the opening button of which is next to your bed. If Simon pops up and requests food, just press a button and it'll open.
You won't wake up too much and Simon'll be happy Cool

But Simon sleeps next to me every single night. So all he has to do is move like a few inches to bug me.

But I think I got it figured out. Last night, he didn't wake up me at all. Well, he did this morning, but that was after I slept for like 9.5 hours so I figured it was time to get up anyways.

I give him about half of what I normally give him during the day, at night. He'll make it last throughout my sleeping and when I wake up, he'll usually want more food.

I really need to finish reading The Hobbit. I've been on the last 3 or 4 chapters for at least 2 weeks now.

RE: The Free Thread
Hopefully he can go back the next time we go to my friends house. As much as I love the cat, he's been a complete baby this past week and has gotten mad at me every single day for absolutely no reason at all.

I know he wants to go home, but him getting angry at me for really nothing isn't going to help him get home faster.

And now he's going to be mad at me for giving him a bath. Haha. That's what a stinky kitty gets. The funny thing is though, he looks so cute wet.

The cat is weird. So an hour after I gave him a bath, he now comes up to me, lets me pet him and then starts purring.

He's lulling you into a false sense of security. Prepare for the claws Wink

Despite having her own water bowl less than 2 meters away, here is Bubbles, not giving a single fuck.

RE: The Free Thread
He's declawed and he won't ever bite. The only biting he has EVER done was a playful bite. Never an aggressive bite.

I took a couple of pictures of him and his wetness... when I was taking them... for some reason they were green. So, once I can actually take the pictures to my computer (probably won't be until later tonight) I'll share them.
