Did You Know Gaming? Forums

For me 2D fighters. Street Fighter, MVC, KoF, Skull Girls. I love these games but I just can't get good. No matter how much I try. I hate it!

Counter Strike. I played it once, but I'm terrible at it, since I don't get enough practice.

Sonic games. Yeah, I usually end up with like 4 minutes on the clock in 2 minute levels.

Galaga. I find it insanely difficult, but weirdly compulsive.

I love fighting games like Soul Calibur. The 8 way run style fighters basically. I was getting lessons from the number 1 seigfried of PSN. Knew the dude IRL. Damn shame he would spam if he was anywere near losing so I didn't consider him a great player after that.And FPS games. I used to hate them because I sucked at them, but I got better and now I enjoy them. Except CoD and Battlefield. They're to similar with each other and simple.

Darksiders (I am stuck pretty early on and not even walkthroughs seem to help me which is both sad and terrible all at the same time)
Assassin's Creed is another series I want to love but I suck horribly at.

Any FPS.

I love Battlefield 3 but I'm just so bad at FPS. Probably because i was a console game until 1½ year ago.

Only two games I can think of are:
WoW (PvP) - I'm so bad at PvP WoW
DoDonPachi -I Would love to like this game and get good but I have this strange vibe that games like Touhou, DeathSmiles, Ikaruga (etc) don't give me. No idea....

I don't know about that. I don't have an arcade stick, and I'm pretty good at fighters. My friend has an arcade stick, is ranked online(somewhere around 216 in a ranking of 1000 people) and I can kick his ass with just the basic console controller.

I'm not saying arcade sticks don't help some people, but I find no use for them.

MvC3 and SF4 is fine. But not for anything like KoF or past SF games.

Yeah. I tried to correct myself at once but the forum wouldn't let me edit my post.

UMvC3 and some other fighter games. Love em', but not good at all against people on multiplayer.

Ah, yeah. Same here. I can't even do shoryus as well as I would like to.
