Well, I speak Portuguese and English. I'm learning German and someday I want to learn Russian, Italian, maybe Japanese. I also like northern Europe languages, like Finnish and Norwegian, a lot.
I study languages mostly because I love to. And secondly because I intend to become a professional translator. But I would study a language just for fun, without a practical use, like latin or quenya or sindarin, just because they're cool.
I can speak french and english, I can also understand spanish a little. If I had a language to learn, it would be japanese.
I can speak English, Japanese, Russian, and Latin. I guess that I don't need to learn anymore languages.
I've been speaking and writing mandarin on and off my entire life but only got serious with it a few months ago. I'm currently self studying mandarin and korean, but I'm hoping to take a more extensive foreign language course with mandarin in college sometime soon. It's not in my career path, but it's a language I've wanted to learn to near fluent level the most since I was little.
also yeah I think it's self explanatory that I speak english too. :I
I speak fluent French, English and Italian
Near-fluent in German
Languages are my thing
EDIT - Sneaky edit, removing trackable info
I can speak fluent English and some Spanish. I really want to learn some Japanese because I always wanted to go to Japan.
I'm a master of the butchered English language. I also know bits and pieces of Norwegian, Russian and German.
I can speak German and English but I think I'm not really good at the last one^^"
I also learned Latin but... I wasn't really good
(Ich kann sowohl auf deutsch als auch auf englisch sprechen, aber ich glaube mein Englisch ist nicht gerade gut^^". Außerdem habe ich auch Latein gelernt, aber... ich war nicht gerade gut)
I speak Portuguese and English.
I speak English, I know a lot of French. If I could learn any others I would want to learn Russian and Japanese.
I speak English primarily, but I also speak German at an intermediate level.
I'd love to learn Japanese (import games), Russian is pretty neat, and I'd really like to learn Welsh as well.
Hey, I have an idea! What if we created language-specific threads, where no one would talk (or type) in English, but only in that specific language.
For example, in a German-themed thread, every post would have to be auf Deutsch. In a Portuguese-themed thread, only em português, and so on.
It's good for practice, showing the beauties of your mother tongue – if English isn't your first language – and shouting obcenities at moderators without fearing retaliation!
I speak English. Nearly forgot all the spanish I used to know from school (I know how to at least count to 10).
Would like to know Japanese, because one day, I want to go to Japan.
I speak English,Spanish and Portuguese(Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese).
