At the end of the game, when you're ranked on how many Hero Coins you received, Link, Yoshi, and Mario are standing on pedestals to show their rankings. Over is a garbage can with a sign that says "no hopers" and Sonic's shoes.
EDIT: I see there's also what looks like a hair dryer. Anybody know what that is?

Well, I probably opened the thread at a bad time, since only a few days passed and it got to second page. Many people aren't really going to dig deep to find new facts, especially since they've lost popularity. And as you saw, many people are making accounts just to upload DYKG facts (myself included).
I hope this one makes it. It is a pretty awesome fact. Also, Earthworm Jim had an SNES release too, so no, it wasn't another jab at Sega.
