Just wanted to discuss this.

My favorite music styling is hard rock because the instruments provide some nice music and a good beat to the song while the lyrics (which is what I listen for) are still clearly said and understood and have meaning to them.
Bands I really enjoy would be Disturbed, Chevelle, and Avenged Sevenfold.

Now is your turn. Big Grin
Metal, Hardrock, Classic Rock, Comedy Rock, parodies and stuff like weird all. Also there are lotsa other kinds of songs i like Tongue I prefer to like songs by song and not genre but mostly i like songs of the genres named above
Anything honestly except country. lol
90's boybands
Pretty open-minded, except for country.

Fuck country.

Beardy

Don't mind a bit of country myself. So long as it's GOOD country.
I like
Death metal to Classic.
Prog rock to Country
Blues to Folk

Oh yeah! And Videogame music of course! Rolleyes
Prog Rock and Hardrock.
I really like anything metal/hard/screamo. I just love the bass and drums. The screaming is great, too and not difficult at all to understand. Just need to pay attention.

I also love 90's alternative. That stuff never gets old. It's what I grew up with and will continue to enjoy for years. I mean come on, Eve6, Rage Against The Machine, Pearl Jam, Bush... who doesn't get tired of that?
Electro House, French House, Industrial Metal and pretty much anything related to Rock.

I also enjoy some metal but if it starts to get so far into the scremo side I start to lose interest because it just start to sound like a guy screaming and I don't mean like screaming words, just screaming and that is where I just start to think it's terrible, but hey that's just my opinion no offence intended.

Some hip-hop and rap is okay. And by some I mean only a few artists... lol.
Rock, I don't care if you like it or not, I just miss when guys could get up on stage and scream their f***ing hearts out.
I'm with whoever it is that mentioned the 90's alternative. But I think I can appreciate any kind of music under the right circumstance. However, I despise this new age of 'party' music with vapid beats and lyrics about... well, partying. I'm not crazy about dubstep but I should give it a chance.

Video game music is a tough call for me. I adore it, but I have a hard time listening to it outside of the games the music belongs to. Not a big metal head, unfortunately, either.
