In the SNES version of Earthworm Jim,Pausing and entering Y, A, B, B, A, Y, A, B triggers a weird sequence in which a message for Nick Jones, one of the game's programmers, is displayed, informing "him" that this is the "old cheat code."
It could possibly be because in the old manual,there was a phone number to the Shiny headquarters. Next to it, it said something to the extent of " . . . and don't ask for the super secret debug cheat".
Note:I found it creepy,don't know for the rest of you guys.
