And no, Goldeneye doesn't count because it was released like two years after the film and wasn't a promotional thing.

Any suggestions?

Depends what you mean by good. Quantum of solace was good because it's just Call of Duty as James Bond. So if you like Cod it's good.

Aliens: Infestation for ds is amazing. Other alien games like the AvP games are good or bad depending who you ask.

Blade runner is amazing

If you open the Star wars can of worms there is many. My personal favs being Jedi knight, Rogue squadron, and Battlefront.

Indiana Jones games have all been varying levels of good. The old adventures are great, the newer action adventures are ok.

If i think of more i'll post em.

Yeah but are the Star Wars games based off of the MOVIES or are they just adventure games happening in the Star Wars universe that reference characters/events/places from the mythos?

Depends on the game really and how deep you want to go. Rogue squadron has some events that are lifted directly from the films but others that are entirely new.

Spiderman 2. Released around the same time (I actually think it was slightly earlier.) and was an incredible game for it's time.

Actually thought of that and forgot to write it down. Great game.

TIE IN GAMES. That are released as a... well "compliment" to the film.

RE: Movie tie-in games that are good.
Some Star Wars games (Lego Star Wars, Super Star Wars etc) are loosely based off of the films, some take place in between films or as side-stories (Rogue Squadron, Masters of Teräs Käsi, Shadows of the Empire etc.) and the rest are just expanded universe type stuff (Knights of the Old Republic, Jedi Academy etc.)

None of them are really 'good' as tie-ins, unless you want to count Rogue Squadron and Super Star Wars in that category.

Well Quantum of Solace does do that. In example, the game has levels that are placed between scenes in the film. So "Bond walks from A to b" in the film becomes "Bond has a serious car chase and shootout and deadly escape" between the scenes.

Yes, Spiderman 2 was released just as the movie was, and is essentially the story of the movie plus extra side plots. It was meant to "compliment" the film.

We all know E.T. is the greatest movie tie-in game ever developed. Nothing can ever surpass it.

Also Ghostbusters (2009) is so great that it's pretty much Ghostbusters 3, and is its own tie-in automatically. Back off man, I'm a scientist.

(No seriously, Ghostbusters is that freakin' amazing)

E.T. certainly complimented the landfills.

RE: Movie tie-in games that are good.
Skarro is right. Ghostbusters is bloody fantastic. Great writing and gameplay. But it wasn't based on a movie but rather meant to be seen as Ghostbuster 2.5. Much like Jon Woos: Stranglehold was to Hard Boiled(Also an amazing movie-game-1.5 thing).
Yeah we can all fap to Goldeneye
So many Star Wars game you could easily name. Battlefront, Battlegrounds, Original Lego Star Wars trilogy, Star Wars Podracing etc.
Die Hard Trilogy on PS1 was awesome
Aliens PS1
Spiderman 1 and 2
Quantum of Solace is awesome
