WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$ unused microgames and levels
Unused "Block" Minigame

Quote:This is an unused microgame in WarioWare, Inc. - Mega Microgame$ that seems to be based on the Color TV Game Block Breaker (1979). The 'internal name' of the game (Block) is found in the US ROM at offset 0xF7551.

Block Breaker (not this microgame) by Nintendo is a collection of six games where you control a paddle to bounce a ball around the screen and break blocks. I've heard that this Color TV Game was based on an earlier 1978 arcade game made by Nintendo called Block Fever, though I haven't seen any flyers for the game. Does anyone have a source that prove it exists?

In this microgame, you have to keep the ball on screen by hitting it with the paddle until the bomb detonates. It seems it's only possible to hit two blocks before the time runs out. The size of the paddle changes for different difficulties.

Unused "TV Game 6" Microgame

Quote:This is an unused microgame in WarioWare, Inc. - Mega Microgame$ which seems to be based on Tennis mode from Nintendo's Color TV Game 6 (1977). The 'internal name' of the microgame (TV Game 6) is found in the US ROM at offset 0xF72C0.

Color TV Game 6 (1977) is a collection of three different light tennis ('pong') based games, including hockey , volleyball and tennis. You can adjust the console to play in singles or doubles mode, and change the size of the "rackets".

When the upgraded Color TV Game 15 was released and sold for 15,000 yen, the Color TV Game 6 was advertised as a cheaper alternative.

This microgame involves you keeping the ball on the screen until the bomb detonates. There are three difficulty levels. Round 2 has you play with smaller rackets. Round 3 has you play in doubles mode (two rackets each side).

Unused "F1 Race" Microgame

Quote:This is an unused microgame in WarioWare, Inc. - Mega Microgame$ based on F-1 Race for the NES. You have to drive forward and avoid the cars, like 9-Volt's "F-Zero" and "Racing 112" microgames.

Unused "Dodge Balls" Levels

Quote:Dodge Balls retains the higher level capabilities present in the demo from Wario World. There are nine levels altogether, and on the highest level there are ten balls for you to dodge.
