Random DYK's V
Unused Textures in Brawl show that battle damage was originally going to implemented.

This shows Captain Falcon's black visor cracked, and you can see his eye.

This one shows Meta Knight's mask cracked, which actually was used in the game on his Final Smash Trophy.

This one shows Link's Shield damaged, and Sword with dents.

Also an unused texture shows that Goombella's trophy originally had a back.[Image: SSBBgoombella.png]

Fox and Falco also have unused models of their blasters misfiring.

Also, The texture for the Assist Trophy Metroid has a Mr. Saturn. It's a texture you never see in gameplay.

(This one is well known, but whatever.)
Dr. Mario, Roy, Dixie Kong, Pulse & Minun, Toon Zelda & Toon Shiek, and Mewtwo were cut from Brawl, the only thing that remains of these characters are effect files for all of them which are all empty. However, Mewtwo and Roy have unused victory fanfare.

Unused music for Brawl includes both Eight Melodies form Mother 1&2, Fourside's music, Ballad of the Wind Fish, Theme of Metal Gear Soild, Radio Exercises from Animal Crossing, You Can Do Anything from the JP version of Sonic CD, and Geno's Woods from Mario RPG.

Donkey Kong has an unused sprite of a attack, similar to his one in Donkey Kong 64.

In Melee, the Great Bay Lab was to be accessible (With entrances on the left & right side) and to be stood on top of. This idea was scrapped, and it was put in the Background. However, a texture of it still exists in the game.

(Don't know if this was rejected or looked over.)
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, the Motion-Sensor Bomb, although they don't tell you what game it's from, it's from Goldeneye 007.

In JP Version however, they use they Proximity Mine from Perfect Dark.

This also why Rare is credited in the game. (Also for the DK Rap)

The text "You got the Proximity Mine Trophy!" is still left inside the Code of the US version.

The plant whistle to call Epona from Twilight Princess was originally in Ocarina of Time, before being cut in favor of Epona's Song.

In the Minish Cap, there is an unused item; the Fire Rod, from Link's Awakening.

It even has it's own text:
"You got the Fire Rod! This mystical rod shoots forth mighty flames."

And the Wizzrobe figurine even says their weak to it. (So we really just got another Pol's voice situation)

It was also going to sold at the shop, as this text can be found:
"Fire Rod: 350 Rupees."

In Diddy Kong Racing, an unused graphic shows a logo for RC Pro-AM 64, hinting that at one point, DKR was RC Pro-AM 64.
An unused character select screen doesn't have Diddy Kong & T.T., also hinting at it.

In the Rom of DK 64 ASCII text of the phrase "ICE KEY" can be found, hinting at Stop & Swop being related to this game.

In Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Bottles will offer "the secret of Stop & Swop for 6000 notes (even though 6000 notes aren't even in the game.) If you say yes, he'll steal all you notes and say "I'm sorry Banjo, but if I tell you, I'd have to kill you, and he can;t have that in a game with this rating."

On Sonic CD, if you put FM NO.42 PCM NO.03 DA NO.01 into the Sound Test, you get this picture:

In Dissdia Final Fantasy, It's possible to play as Chaos through cheats, even through Garland only appears in his normal form throughout the whole game.

In the Gameboy Camera, If you hit the "Run" option you this picture:[Image: 70524_v1.jpg]

In Generation 1 of Pokemon, all areas are named after colors, even though being released before the Gameboy Color. When playing Red & Blue on a Super Gameboy, or Yellow on a GBC, the areas change into the colors they're named after. However, this only happens with Yellow when using Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2's GB Towers.

When you start the game at Destiny Islands you can fight Tidus, Wakka or Selphie. On the first day if you speak to Tidus, you have to refuse fighting him. If you do this several times he wil say something like: "Wakka and me just thought of a game underwater where you chase the ball". If you keep saying "no", he'll then say: "You'll never be a star in our game like me". Obviously this is a reference to blitzball and the fact that Tidus is a star player in FFX.

In Shadow the Hedgehog, In the level Final Haunt, Sonic breaks the fourth wall at the beginning by saying "Well Shadow, looks like we reached the climax of this little game." After you beat the level when Sonic is talking to Black Doom he says "So You;re behind this rule... like it or not... the game's OVER!" referring to the fact that this is the final boss of the game.

In Sonic 3D Blast, when ever an error occurs, the game's error handling system causes the game to say "Congrats! You've found a SUper Secret Bonus Stage." And you're taken to a bonus stage that isn't accesible in normal play.

Yeah, ok, Rare is mentioned on the game because one of their things is in the game. I don't think this isn't groundbreaking or anything, in fact, that is just what they should do and they did.

Woohoo, this is nothing interesting.

Well, I guess I am. Whatever then. I'll see if I can find anything better.
