St. Louis Video Game Console Examiner

Keep in mind that I don't report every bit of news like Joystiq or GameInformer, but typically I cover the more important bits of news.

I've been writing for them since 2009, and have plenty of old school game reviews and current news mixed together. Lately the page has been blowing up, so I'm doing something right.

Thanks in advance to everyone that shows up!

I mostly just wanted to say congrats on getting a legitimate journalism gig writing about games. That isn't easy, at least where I live it isn't.

Thanks man, I appreciate that and hope you check out the site daily. I may be the St. Louis guy, but my reporting covers the entire nation.

You can write for Examiner too, as long as they like your work and you have a subject to write about. You should check the site out, submit an application and you can get started. http://www.examiner.com/About_Examiner

The pay is based on your page views, and personally I get a decent amount of cash each month. It's not enough to quit my regular job, but I'm able to pay my internet/cable bill every month and that easily makes it worth my time.

If you go over there and apply shoot me a message here, you can put me down as referring you and I'll get a quick $50.

Do you have PM's disabled on the forum? I'd like to ask a couple questions but I'd rather do it one on one.

Quoting this again because I have no other way of alerting you to it, but when I tried to respond it says "Gardocki has Private Messaging disabled."
