Bug Chaos 0
Okay so here is one that I know for a fact hasn't been submitted yet. The main antagonist of Sonic Adventure, Chaos 0(Mostly referred to as simply Chaos) is depicted as the guardian of the Chao, a race of cute pet-like creatures you can raise as your own as a feature of the game. In the cutscenes that he is depicted in the present he is ruthless and barely shows any emotion. In flashbacks of the past he is seen as a kind hearted creature and is shown as a small body of water outside of the Master Emerald shrine communicating through ripples to Tikal, an important NPC in the game. When Tikal's father, Pachacamec and his tribe kill all his chao in a selfish attempt to gather the Chaos Emeralds force Chaos to show his true form and use the Emeralds to turn into a dragon and kill them all. This event is important as it was foreshadowed in the backstory of Sonic The Hedgehog 3 http://www.theghz.com/sonic/son3/son3.html Here's the link to prove it. Anyways other than that tidbit of info Sonic Channel confirms that Chaos 0 was a normal chao that was mutated by prolonged exposure to the Master Emerald http://info.sonicretro.org/Chaos His mutated liquid form, along with the form of a neutral "Chaos" chao which I provided a picture of proves that the chao in Sonic games, are actually what appears to be fresh water that was brought to life. This would explain the "drop" shape of their heads. How they transformed from water to life forms is unknown though it probably has something to do with the Master Emeralds as well as all the Chaos Emeralds themselves.
