Yesterday, I purchased a graphics tablet off amazon (despite not actually knowing how to draw) and spent pretty much the whole day feeling like an actual artist in Flash.

Now as any NormalBoots.com (R.I.P) fan would do, I decided to devote a considerable portion of my time (1 hour) to drawing incredibly-late-to-the-party-and-pretty-mediocre fan art. Which of course I am going to share here.

I know I posted this in the "shameless promotion" part of the forum, but I am guessing not a lot of people go there, lol, and besides... Creative part deserves to have a book there! Especially when it is about gamers! ^_^

Title:
Gamers Vs. Zombies-100% True Fictional Story

Synopsis (what the book is about):

Ian Jones, a 19-year-old gamer from a small town of Arlington Heights, Illinois comes in possession of a weird zombie video game which grants him a job as a full-time game tester/developer. There he meets five other colleagues (including one girl), and they all get introduced with a breathtakingly innovative technology-sensory operated gaming platform.
Suddenly, a mysterious and legendary character from the gaming world appears, and at that point it becomes clear that the zombie game is a bit more than just a video game...

I ain't all that great by my own view with what I have done, but I thought it worth spreading at very least.

This is just a bit of what I have done, and all of this is on AutoDesk Sketchbook which isn't my preferred program, but I digress.

I'm not sure how this'll line up, but I am putting descriptions regardless.

Cenote-crustacean
#1 Cenotion

Its skin is pasty and thin, making prolonged exposure to high frequency waves (one would consider sunlight) hazardous. As a result, these creatures typically reside in moist caves or aquifers only leaving at night in search of small game and tubers.

Propulsion-pelican
#2 Propullican

This creature evolved in the large open plains of the world, using its tail to hurdle itself long distances in pursuit of game. Recently, these creatures have experienced a population boom in the midst of nearby forests, finding new uses for their tails, using them to swing on branches with great momentum into prey.

They blow air into the bags on their necks to vocalize. The reason for this is unknown.

This one I thought up around that "mayan apocalypse".

Argos-Tortoise

The complex nervous system on this creature's spineless scaled cartilage torso allows it to interpret the world around it up to a mile,solely based on movement,despite the lack of eyes. If the creature senses danger, it will hunch over like when it eats, forming a protective layer of cartilage covered in scales. In local tales, one of these creatures predicted a volcanic eruption, allowing nearby villages to get word of the blast hours before it actually occurred.

Neo-Bugul Noz
These creatures do not have long life spans, great intellect, or strength. Nothing fears them, many prey on them, and the few that avoid them are humans. These creatures survive solely through reproduction. From birth, all they do is eat and release spores into the air which will link with more spores. This species actually periodically goes extinct during the winter each year when its life span comes to conclusion. Then in the coming weeks following winter, the spores form new creatures in mid-air creating the appearance of a sole forest spirit in the wind.

T'was but a pretty shitty Nuzlocke comic.
However, just before the 7 gym, something magical happened.
I bought Anime Studio 9.
The result being that it is no longer a comic, but an animated webseries in the making!

You might be wondering, "But DarkNerd, this is a shameless self-advertisement!"
And if you're not, then read the rules.

And while it technically is, I put it here with a reason.
You see, the series features several character. Shinx, Luxio, Luxray, Bidoof, Biberal, another slightly different Biberal, Starly with shades, Staravia with shades, Staraptor with shades, Starly without Shades, etc., Budew, Roselia, Roselia with an eyepatch, Roserade with an eyepatch, a Buizel, a male and female Floatzel, a Drifloom, Drifblim, and so on.
As you can see, that's quite a large amount. And not even half of the characters. Probably a third. Maybe less.
So, I need some assistance. In order to do that, however, you must know the style. As such, I will need to complete episode 1.
However, you might ask, "Then why post it now?"

I answer, because I want constructive criticism.

So I started drawing back in 2009, beginning with simple stick figures and then working my way up. I pulled up a drawing I made in 2010 and decided to redraw it to see all the progress I've made.
