Thanks for ignoring the whole point of the paragraph. Let me make it clearer: even if my specs don't match the minimum, the game might just play fine or lag the hell out. And I simply can't predict which one will happen.

Yeah so that's your excuse. I don't know if it will run it so I'll just get pirate it regardless. I'm now entitled to get it for free because my computer has it on/off days.

As I said - I pirated Transformers 2 after the disappointment of the first, on the off-chance that it would be good and with the full intention of buying it if it was.

That's the impression that you give. They don't deserve money but I still want it.

Looking back at your counter-arguments, it would seem as if you are against a friend of yours purchasing a movie and then asking if you want to watch it with him. You yourself didn't pay for the movie, so why should you get to enjoy it?
That's actually a pretty good point, but pirating means obtaining a copy for yourself. Private "screening" is technically against the law. It's not classed as pirating though. But the reason you buy a film is for your personal use. But with films you lose any point of purchasing a film. But games are different because it's a different experience for everyone. Not only that but it comes down to sales.

You're never going to be able to justify somehow not paying for something because you didn't think it was worth the money but somehow worth you owning.

If you had played the demo for Metroid Prime 2 Echos that came with the original Metroid Prime the yo would know what I'm talking about the demo showed off a part of the game that was a bigger point in the game

and even when the game finally came out it was completely changed at that part and didn't even resemble the demo at all, there are more examples of game devs doing this but that is the most prominent example I know so I choose to just download the full game when it comes out and see how it is if I'm not sure if i want to buy it or not and if I don't like it I'm just gonna delete it and move on with life.
Wouldn't surprise me if you actually DON'T buy the game and keep the pirated version. Because, playing Demos and reading reviews is laaaaaame, yo.

This is not my argument but as a fellow pirate I'll give my 2 cents on it, pirating something does mean you want it but that doesn't mean you think it's worth the money that the creator wants you to pay for it like CoD map packs for example I have not pirated these but I can say that like 3 or 4 maps is not worth the $20

You're not making a stand. You're just a dumb as those who made a stand against Mass Effect 3 then end up pirating. What are yuo proving there by still obtaining the game? It's just a weak mind and selfishness. It's not you showing you give a crap about the community. Just greed. It's you who doesn't stick up for the community but gives us this crap we have to deal with like DRM and games not coming to PC (Like Street Fighter 4).
and not putting a fair price on it I would on the other hand happily pay half that price because that actually seems reasonable.

On the movies subject, it's rather simple: when I'm spending my vacations with my family in my hometown, I can't watch movies on the theaters because we have none. However, when I'm away during the rest of the year I just find myself with cinemas that abuse dubbed movies. And those suck.

*sigh* Look man you're really wearing on my patience now, in your argument you obviously over looked things that were said or just simply ignored them, like when you told Symphony to use dxdiag you ignored that he said the game's requirements are too high for his system (or so it says) but then he is actually able to play it, I have had personal experience with this myself I bought PAYDAY: The Heist off Steam thinking my computer could run it but after looking at the requirements after already purchasing it, my processor specs were too low regardless I tried to play and it ran with some constant fps lag due to my lack of processing power but it still works.
OK I've clearly missed something here then. Explain how your PC being temperamental means you pirate it?
Also I stated that I have more examples of changes from the main game to the demo that's just the most prominent another example that I remember is Splinter Cell: Conviction this is a more modern game so you can probably see this one for yourself the demo resembled the full game but at the same time the scenes you play in the demo are changed in the final product
When you obtain a demo, they all say "product does not represent final product" or something along those lines. How did you overlook that?
which further prompts me not to trust official demos as actually representing the game unless it's actually the full game itself for a limited time of play, those demos I trust because that is the actual game I'm playing. Also I never said our logic doesn't have it's downsides if there was a way I could pay what I think is a reasonable price for things I would do that an example would be if the company can be donated to I would pirate the overpriced merchandise then pay what I think it's actually worth through a donation, I view ripping off your customers because of your own greed is a social crime and is inexcusable, don't sit there and give us unreasonably high prices just because you want money, your goal should be to please the community not take their money.
That's your opinion not a fact. If you don't like the way something is priced then don't buy it. Wait for it to go on sale. Instead of them not earning anything.
