Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire remakes?

But then everyone would have the same version. If there are two version then people can play with different versions and help each other to get every Pokemon. One version would just ruin that and make the social aspect dull... plus in remake tradition they make the two games not the 3rd (FireRed/LeafGreen, SoulSilver/HeartGold)

But Fire Red and Leaf Green are based on a series that has 3 before (Green, Blue and Red). Should just give everyone the final version of that series.
