Killing is pretty unequivocally a bad thing, though in the world we live in it is necessary in certain circumstances, self defence, etc. 1) Also, I think the new testament was not intended to sugarcoat anything, but it was intended to completely overwrite the old testament.

@2)I dunno, I like Binding of Isaac. But to me it's more about the gameplay, the story is rather lackluster.

@1) Exactly it intended to overwrite the Old Testament but by sugar coating what they really preach. It's like people who say dumb idiotic stuff on twitter, everyone gets annoyed so they delete it. It doesn't matter because everyone heard it. It's like the New Testament is the apology but everyone knows they really don't like gays and it's an abomination and, as I've quoted before, certain verses. It's why so many American religious politicians have an issue against gays because it's against their religion. It's not like Islam even tries to hide that.

@2) I guess that could also be applied to El Shaddai too really.

Your argument would only make sense if christians believed the bible was written by christians, they believe it's written by god, so it's god saying you can now be gay or shave your beard... also the old testimate itself still does not say anything about condeming or hating someone for there sins and that all sins are equal and that we all sin...., if they are doing something wrong you don't write them off as a person. You are still supposed to love everyone in the old testimate as well.

tl;dr: your argument is invalid
