I got a few more to add to this.

1. Bald Bull has been featured in more games than any other Punch-Out character (including Little Mac). He was featured in the Arm Wrestling and in Warioware Smooth Moves.

2. Many assumed that Mike Tyson was taken out of Punch-Out due to his rape conviction but in fact it was because he lost the title and wasn't the champion anymore. This is shown because the Mr. Dream version came a year before Mike Tyson was arrested.

3. NES Punch-Out there are many subtle gameplay mechanics.
-Little Mac for can do more damage to the body using his right hand but his left hand is faster.
-On some boxer like Piston Honda and Super Macho Man you can get a quick body shot by using the gutter punch. Tap up on the D-pad then throw a body punch. This often gives you a star.
- When Bald Bull does his Bull charge there is a camera man to the top right of the ring where his flash goes off. If you throw a body punch at the moment you see the flash it will knockdown Bald Bull.
- If you dodge and counter attack it will stun your opponent. If you strike just at the moment they're becoming unstunned then it will do more damage.
- Between Rounds if you hold select then press start you can recover your health. You can do this once per match. If you do it when you're full of health you'll loose half your health.
- Doing a rapid punch then a delayed punch it will cause the clock to stop. Its called the clock stop glitch.

4. Soda Popinski, Bear Hugger, and Rick Bruiser are the only left handed boxers in the series.
