I think I did it this time. I'll fill this in with details after a quick test.

So while I was posting my progress report I was downloading an official patch in hopes it would fix the crashes, and I total forgot about it till I looked over to my other monitor. After installing the patch my game got scream.cfg and it works just fine with the game. So here's a link to the patch:

(You should backup the game just in case this messes up anything)

After which I ran a quick stream test and got this result: (I messed up my audio devices just before recording which is why the game audio cuts out within a few seconds.)
