Because we're not 5 anymore and understand what you can't live off the same formula for 25 years. Also, I haven't seen a Mario TPS, FPS, RTS, Rail Shooter, Sh'ump, Traditional fighter, Racing simulation, hack n slash, survival horror, sandbox RPGs, tower defence, graphic novel just to name a few genres.
