Has it run its course, or does anyone want to talk about quite possibly the most infamous video game creepy pasta, Polybius?: http://www.freewebs.com/polybiustheory/

I really liked the story. Granted it's not a bit scary, but like Candle Cove it's one that's not too overly far fetched to the point where a fair amount of folks believed in it. Heck, this caused people to actually search for this so called game and it makes a little cameo in The Simpsons.

They almost had me on the hook when the version I read talked about seizures. Sure, I could believe that some obscure arcade game existed but was pulled because of that. If an episode of Pokemon could do it, then a game totally could, but I quickly realized it was BS when it got to the part about the men in black.
