I found him to be as emo in the game itself as he was in the movie. No amount of cross-dressing can help that. It didn't help Alfred and it doesn't help Cloud Tongue I still like him, though, and he's still one of my favorite video game characters. What Cloud has going on for him is that he is propably the most badass emo character in gaming. Well, was before we saw the teen Dante. Zack did steal some of his shine in Crisis Core.
