The difference between Spirits Within straying from the source material and the RE movies straying from the source material is that they didn't use any known characters and overshadow them with a completely original character whose sole reason for being in the movies is that she's banging the director. Spirits Within actually used to be one of my favorite movies as a kid. I recently found it on DVD and bought it for good times' sake.

The KoF movie can't possibly be as ridiculous as the Tekken movie. Can it..?
