Luffy is the main focus of the crew but only just before where I am now does his crew actually get seperated from him and hes alone again for a bit. Otherwise the arcs focus on the Straw Hat Pirates (Luffy's crew)

The canon side stories (like that buggy one) sadly stop which makes no sense to me. Instead of filler they should have continued with those side story mini arcs that are based off the manga. Makes me sad since they get much better.

btw though it is pretty obvious as you watch you spoiled who joins the crew.
