The amount of suffering you would go through like having a relationship in which they would die, you'd find someone else, they'd die etc. It'd be fun in the short term but not in the long run.

I was thinking about this some more, yea it would suck in the long run.

I would love to know what happens if some extraterrestrial event happens and the earth was destroyed. By destroyed, I mean like what the Death Star did to Alderaan. Would the immortal person, be stuck floating in space? That would seem like a terrible fate.

I would still chose the immortality as my power.
