That's what really drew me in when I saw the trailers. When I saw him make the wisecrack about tiny knives, I knew they got his character close enough to being right for once.
It also helps that the actor is freaking amazing.
One of my friends (actually, the other guy in the pic I shared in the "Post Pictures of Yourself" thread) is a HUGE spider-man film. And he things Andrew Garfield was a weird choice for Spider-Man because he doesn't look like he'd be a geek/nerd.
What's your opinion on that? How well does Andrew portray Peter/Spider compared to Tobey Maguire?
Problem with Peter Parker is that too many people focus on him just being a nerd, and nothing else. If you actually read the comics you will find out that even though Peter parker is often portrayed as a badly dressed nerd, he has always been very attractive. He gets women all the time and MJ (his next girlfriend) usually have a job has a photomodel or something like it.
