While I kind of believe in what they are trying to do, it's not really a religion I practice just yet.
Does your liking what they do have an impact on your beliefs? What makes you warm up to a particular belief system?
To be honest it's kind of personal to a level which I don't want to discuss so much furhter into at this forum, sorry.
What peaked my interest though is that Buddhism, especially Theravada, is all about questioning the religion itself. Buddha himself once said that only an idiot would believe something without having doubt. This makes Theravada a timeless religion and this is also the reason why there are so many branches of Buddhism out there. He doesn't necessarily believe that life is all good, but that the bad is a huge part of life that you need to accept. Because once you do, life becomes easier. Theravada doesn't go around bullshitting about gods or that everything in life is good. Just that there are some stuff you might have to deal with, and once you do, and other people do, it might make life easier.
