The Doom movie was alright. I didn't hate it or like it fairly much. It didn't make me want to play Doom 3 again, either, so maybe that's a plus for the movie.
Also, yes, Advent Children was bad, at least to me. Though, as with RE, I was not a big fan of FF7, but still hated how much they butchered the movie.
How has no one mentioned the Super Mario Bros. Movie yet?
In terms of favorites, I still to this day love Pokemon 3 and Pokemon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
I enjoyed, as in laughed at, the 'so bad it's good' dialogue of both Mortal Kombat movies. Were they bad? Yes, but they were enjoyably bad.
Also, I'm with Arjahn on Wreck-it-Ralph, if it counts that is. It wasn't the greatest movie ever, but it was a fun movie.
There haven't been too many good movies made from games. That's actually kinda saddening.
Oh yeah, I forgot about the Pokemon movies, I always loved the one with Celebi (2000 I think) because unlike most of the other ones, a lot of it was just seeing a giant evil Tyranitar demolish everyone, it was a tangible bad guy because he was just menacing on his own, instead of having the plot tell us why to not like him, like most of the Pokemanz movies do. I mean, look at this guy.
He's just scary lookin', at least to an 8 year old who sees him destroying everyone with Hyper beam.
And as for the Mario Bros. Movie, iunno, I just think it's kind of cliche to say, but at least it's one of those movies that never really stood a chance in live action, unlike Silent Hill or Resident Evil, which are supposed to be not-exactly realistic, but moreso than an animated plumber who eats shrooms and kills turtles.
