I'm not a professional DJ or anything, but to me it seems like you mess with the track too much. Sometimes it's better to just chill and put little inserts in whenever it feels like it would go with the music.

Again, if you feel that I'm wrong, I am more than likely wrong. I'm just coming from years of listening to music and I know what I like
