What do you think of emulators?

I'll use emulators for older games that are hard to find the newest emulator I have had was for Game Cube, (had because I keep emulators on my flash drive and that thing was about a good 3 GB of space for one game and the emulator on a 16 GB flash drive, not worth the space) which is pretty old now by technological standards. Also they give you a lot more control over your games, hell I'll download games I actually own just so I can save in the middle of a level and come back later, or save high scores since the game doesn't save them itself when turned off. (Gradius III doesn't save high scores so I have to open a saved game every time I start that.)
