The Motion-Sensor Bomb In Smash Bros. 64 & Melee, while the trophy never tells you where they're from, they're actually from Goldeneye.


But the Japanese version is different. The JP Version Of Melee uses the Proximity Mine from Perfect Dark. The trophy even says it's from Perfect Dark. The text had to be edited slightly to remove the references to Perfect Dark.


(If you can't read it, it says: The perfect accessory for ambushes, the proximity mine has long been a favorite covert weapon of the Carrington Institute any surface [sic], and once armed, detonates with incredible force when it detects motion within its range. In the frantic world of Super Smash Bros., it doesn't take long for it to go.)

Also, according to an interview with Yuji Naka, Sonic was meant to be in Melee, but couldn't make it due to time constraints.
