My old job had my working in a warehouse moving food stock and emptying the lorries. Wet, cold and dark conditions (but that's warehouse work for you). Shifts from around 06:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 22:00 or 22:00 to 06:00 (Not when I had college or Uni that morning however. Sometimes working in the freezer. Tiring as heck but a good "workout". Had no issues being there. Got hurt a bit and was generally good (funny how people bitch about their jobs which isn't even hard or that interesting).
Only reason I don't have a job now (the last 3 months) is because I worked for an agency, who hired me to work in a warehouse. I went to work often and had a pay increase which obviously meant I was kinda expensive. Also adding to the fact they wanted me in during the times I had Uni exams so I had to decline quite often.. I liked it though. Enjoyable work that was
actual work. A lot of Polish people but no dick'eads and was nice to work in a "straight-to-it" type of job.
Currently looking for a new job though. I'm not giving up and I'm putting myself out there to get a job.
