Being the Bethesda nerd I am I cant let this go. Bethesda had no hand in NV but its so similar because Obsidian used the Fallout 3 code. Bethesda actually does own the Fallout franchise as of 2007. In 2004(? it might have been 2000) they had a 3 game contract with Interplay which later turned into Bethesda getting the license to Fallout because Interplay was evicted by their landlord and they just broke up after that.
And Butch tries to steal your sweetroll that Old Lady Palmer gives you.
