RE: Relationships.
Dudes can get away with being ugly if they carry themselves well. I think it's also about being cool or funny or confident or whatever. Of course good looks are obviously a big factor, but still, it's possible to get by without.

Women, not so much. Not saying it's right or fair, but it seems to be how it is.

I like that you're now hideous. I bet ten points that you're average, like everyone else on this forum.

[Speaking on a purely numerical "league" system wherein people can only date people of their league or lower]

If you think you're ugly and that it makes you less confident, that's gonna show. Guys with confidence who feel epic about how they are will be able to hit higher.
Also, British accents.

If I'm in the right clothes, I look like the sexiest man on the planet. Of course, I look like that all the time. I just say I'm ugly to keep people happy.

Truth. Even us average women have a tough time.

RE: Relationships.
Okay guys I have a well an issue and it is REALLY not that big of a deal but I just LOVE making things seem like a big deal when they aren't. So yeah, one of my friends has a birthday coming up; this is the same girl that I mentioned previously that loves to play video games and is really cute and I like her and I am pretty sure she likes me back but I am taking things slowly. So her birthday is coming up and I have a few items I cold get her, would you think a homemade necklace is a good gift? Would that come off as too strong or anything like that?

That depends on how strong you want it to come off, and if you're ready to possibly take the next step. I think a homemade necklace is a very sweet, lovely gift. The more work you put into it, and the more you cater it to her liking, the more it shows how much you like her (I would think- that's how I would be) It's hard to say though because everyone is different. I've just always loved homemade things.

Would you post a picture when you make it?

This. I doubt anyone wouldn't like a homemade gift. Putting the time in to create a gift it usually appreciated. Has a lot more thought to it.
