Oh fuck off it just hit me about 3 mins later when I was reading a book.
Wings of Liberty...And the multiplayer would have adapted to the Heart of the Swarm's added units and what not so it would not matter which version you had I don't think.

It does, and the tactics changed, and the units changed. I can't help you with HoTs but I can get ya as a friend in WoL and see if I can get my friend to give ya some tips, though expect nothing.
