RE: Steam Summer Sale!
Just recently bought Payday: The Heist for 5 bucks and the Alan Wake collectors pack which includes the Online CE of Alan Wake 1 and American Nightmare for 10 bucks.

Never played Payday so can anyone tell me how much fun it is or if anyone else wants to play cause I believe it is 4 player co-op?

The game is pretty fun. It's a mix of GTA4 (Three Leaf Clover mission) with Left 4 Dead, which isn't bad. Only kick to the nutsack is that there isn't cross platform between PS3 and PC. So lame. But the game is fun regardless.

Well my wireless is screwed up so playing on the PC online is the only way I can really get any fun out of it.

RE: Steam Summer Sale!
I ended up buying Ys even though I was looking for Rayman Origins and Arma II.

I also just got Borderlands GOTY for $7.49 USD, so if you don't have this stupidly awesome game now is the perfect time to get it.

RE: Steam Summer Sale!
I bought Star Wars The Force Unleashed, Half-Life 1 Anthology (it's about time I played the first Half-Lives) and Sonic Generations. I think I spent a little less than 25 dollars. But consider that prices almost double with currency conversion here and feel my sorrow.

Now I shall remain put, not touching the credit card for a long time.

RE: Steam Summer Sale!
I'm very upset I bought PAYDAY: The Heist seeing that it was only $5.00 and my computer could run it (or so I thought) it turns out I can't even play it the game requires minimum 3 ghz processor and I have a duo core processor that has 2 ghz and I thought that meant 2 ghz for each core, NOPE it meant 1 ghz for each core which is amazingly crappy considering this is a vista with pretty decent standards on everything else...so basically I spent $5.00 on a game that I can't even play.

Edit: YAY, it actually worked and it turns out it is 2 ghz per core and it was just being derpy earlier I'm very happy I didn't just waste my money on something I couldn't even play. Big Grin

Sonic and SW: TFU = amazing games.

Before buying a game I use this (for my house PC, obviously my gaming can run it) but if you're not sure...

RE: Steam Summer Sale!
I'm trying not to look at the sales at all this year, since I'm already having a ton of trouble saving money. Still, I got Ys: The Oath in Felghana for $4.99 a couple days ago, so hopefully that'll be the only thing I buy. I'll be getting started on it after I wrap up Ys: Origin.
