The musician's thread
So basically, are their any musicians amongst you fine people ?
I mean, any instrument, guitar, flute, theremin, Ocarina of Time, etc Cool

Personally, I've played the violin for the past 16 years, the piano for about the same time (not counting banging around the family piano when I was a wee lad). I'm a decent drummer and can wang a few tunes on a guitar.
I also make a lot of music on my laptop for myself and friends.

If we get enough musicians, we could start a DYKG band Big Grin

RE: The musician's thread
I played guitar for 7 years. A bit of drums and dabbled on piano (will get back into that).
All I do know is play the Guitar Hero, the keys of my computer keyboard and bang the crap out of my arcade stick......but I still listen to music everyday. I just have no spark left....like a Charmanders tail flame going out.

16 years though, that's pretty damn good. Did you do your grades?

Ha, I suppose you can add Guitar Hero to the list Tongue

Yeah, sneaked my way up the grades in secondary school. Happy that they're finished though, by the end of it, the scales were ridiculous.
"Can you do a B-sharp pentatonic minor ?" "Err.... NOPE."

Fun Fact - My violin is 122 years old Smile

Cellos are awesome - Though they're a bitch to carry round, I think that's one of the reasons my parents gave me a violin Big Grin

We're going to need some details on "unruly" Tongue

I can play the Piano, Violin and Guitar.

However I can't play them now, due to the fact I've forgotten.

A Capella is fine though...

Well, as an example. One day I was feeling exceptionally bored, so I threw a shoe at the bass drum..... It bounced off of the drum and hit my band director on the head.
