Plsyatation Vita

The Playstation Vita is quite a powerful handheld console. Unfortunately, for me at least, it's game line-up isn't nearly as powerful.

And I'm a bit disappointed by this. The main selling point for the Vita was to be able to play console games on a handheld device. Which sounds great! The problem is that there really are very few of these console-worthy titles actually on the system.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, what would you like to see on the PSVita? What would be a selling point for you?

This is what I would love to see:

Dead Space. Dead Space is one of my favorite game series' and it really should be on Vita (heck, it's on iOS).

Batman Arkham. Because the Arkham games are some of the best console games ever (arguably), it would be really great to see Rocksteady make a game for on-the-go on par with the console games.

inFAMOUS. Because it's a great Playstation exclusive series, it really should make it's way to handhelds.

And they're getting there, with titles like Killzone Mercenaries, Black Ops: Declassified, Assassins Creed III: Liberation and Resistance Burning Skies, but the process of releasing these games is so slow. I suppose it just needs some time to develop a steady library of games, and I understand that, I just wish it would happen sooner.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on the PSVita?

The handheld is lacking games yes but holidays 2012 will be a big boom for Vita sales IMO, Persona 4 The Golden is coming out and this is what I have been waiting for so I will pre order that game and a Vita later on this year.

I do not know if they were trying to do what Nintendo already did with the 3DS and the lack of games but I hope more people get into the Vita.

I'm just waiting for that one game that really sells it for me (I guess that would be P4 for you.) If Dead Space came out on Vita, I'd probably be sold on that. Then, by that time, I'll be able to pick up the games that looked pretty good (Killzone Mercenaries, Resistance Burning Skies, etc.) at a cheaper price and all.

Another thing I'm kind of weary about is the memory cards. I don't understand why they would give it internal storage, and then make some titles that you have to use memory cards for. It's like counter-productive or counter-progressive. Not to mention the memory cards aren't cheap.

I think that a lot of big games developers are waiting to see how the inital Vita and Vita game sales do before investing into it.
I hope the big names throw in some big games, then I'd be tempted to buy it

Vita is doing terribly, worse than the 3DS and this is due to it's games.

I haven't seen any Vita games worth playing, apart from the Metal Gear games, and that's it.

The Vita hasn't even reached 1 million sold worldwide.

I, like many other people, will wait until it's hacked, if this system is as powerful as they say, we could have a portable dreamcast/ps2 in our hands.

Hell, you can even play PS3 games on it, as well as PC games, the Vita will be like the PSP, it had great games, but were overlooked by the DS, and it was mainly used to hack.

Vita does badly due to its games. Game companies don't develop because it's doing badly. Rinse and repeat, I guess

I never used hack devices and do not see the point of it, I am fortunate to own many of the consoles that you listed and it just seems like a spit to Sony's face that you would hack a device.

Damn,i really like the PS vita(but i admit it,i got a 3DS instead,considered on buying psvita),but since the dawn of the gaming realm, video game company don' take handhelds seriously unless it has something special about it or it isn't that expensive so there games can at least make it in the market.

Oh and Agentkuo wasn't kidding about how powerful it is ethier.here's proof.
