How do you open a wii and replace the bluetooth module?

My friend broke his bluetooth module in the Wii and he bought a new bluetooth module to replace it. If he can't fix it, he will need to buy a new Wii. If you know of any good websites on how to open a Wii and replace the module, please answer this question and give us the link. Thanks!

Doesn't Nintendo replace those? My cousin's cat chewed through one and I'm pretty sure Nintendo replaced that.

Depends where you are. You can use your countries Nintendo repair service to have your console sent to be repaired.

Well if he tried opening it himself already, doesn't that void the warranty or something? Also, shouldn't this be in the Help thread?
Not to be insensitive or anything, I know the pain of having to send in your Wii (the day I got the limited edition Goldeneye bundle with the golden classic controller pro, I had to send it in because it wouldn't read the disc )

I think that the warranty doesn't work anymore if the Wii is old.

Also, how did he even break it?
