A BIG Sonic fact - Face - 07-27-2012 04:56 AM

Sonic has a "brother" as tagged by fans "Ashura", it is a palette glitch that can be done in Sonic 2, i have done it many times.

Ashura is a glitch in which Sonics palette is change to consist of black, red and green.

Some believe him to be an early version of shadow, others believe him to be Scourge the Hedgehog, but he has never been an official SEGA Sonic character, but many fan art photos have been drawn of him

How to unlock:
Emerald Hill Zone Act 1 - Activate debug mode and select Emerald Hill Zone. When you find an object that is invisible, place it multiple times in these areas and it will show a large waterfall. Each area unlocks a different color palette.


Emerald Hill Zone Act 2 - Place multiple large waterfalls on the first "Coconuts" to change into a red, black, and green Ashura.

Street Fighter 3: Third Strike has a colour pallette glitch but it doesn't mean there could've been additional characters with a different name and backstory etc. T'is a glitch with no meaning.

Oddly enough, the Mortal Kombat games had a few characters that were actually palette/glitches initially. Namely, Ermac and Skarlet.

Anything involving a debug mode is risky business, and difficult to confirm beyond fan speculation.
