Alright, new Did you know...

Did you know, that when you trade a pokemon with a friend from gen 1 to gen 2, that evolve when tradet (like Graveler to Golem) and having it on a level, where it learns a move, that doesnt exist in gen 1 (like lv 34, the attack Rollout), you can trade it back to gen 1 and it will change to a glitch attack?

Side note: ofc the person, who got Graveler, wich turned into Golem has to learn the move, but the trade MUST go on for the trick to work.
Trade it back just after the evolution and learning the move.

Also:

Having a Ditto in gen 1 and using transform on any random pokemon wich has more then 1 attack and then switch the first attack with the 2nd, 3th or 4. move and leaving the fight (run away or win), will result in a ditto having no attacks but a glitch move.

Nintendo sent you a virus D:
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire have a time based glitch known as the Berry Glitch. This meant that time based events wouldn't occur anymore such as: Trainer re-battles, berries growing or Lilycove department store updating with new sales. Because the game is cartridge based in order to fix it Nintendo had installed a virus on versions of Fire Red/Leaf Green/ Pokemon Colosseum Pokemon Channel/ Pokemon Box. To infect your cartidge all you have to do is:
Hook FireRed/LeafGreen together (With them on the purple end of the official cable)
On the title screen press Select and B
Then turn on Ruby/Sapphie and on the GBA start up screen press Start and Select together and it'll send the patch.

There's a glitch to get Celebi based on the index numbers of moves in G/S/C. Splash happens to be index number 150, and therefore gives Mewtwo. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Celebi_glitch

Missingno. occurs because when the Old Man event is activated, it changes your name temporarily using the data normally used for wild Pokémon, since there are none in Vermillion. It then uses that for the shore on Cinnibar, hence the relation to your name characters.

Gamefreak have appeared in every game, claiming to be on holiday in most games, except Black and White, where they have a building in Castelia City, where they are on the 22nd floor, the same floor as their real life location in Carrot Tower, Tokyo.

As G/S/C used real time clocks, putting greater strain on electrical usage, their battery has already died, meaning no saving until it is replaced. R/B therefore lasts longer, but the batteries only last around 15 years. This means that they'll run out in approximately a years time.

Well this one is a bit mixed Smile

When you talk to the Old man, the game stores your name in the Ram, where the game choose the wild Pokemons from, thats because in Vermillion are no places, where you can encounter a wild pokemon battle.
So your name is now "Old Man" and so you still have this name, when you fly to Cinnibar, and the error starts, when you just surf the coast of Cinnibar, because gamefreak forgott to refresh the pokemon encounter ram for just that one place and under the city with the safari zone (forgot the name lol).

Bit mixed, but the main thing was true Wink

Here is a simple did you know and probably nothing new:

Did you know, that when you cut a tree in gen 1, standing where the tree was, saving and restarting the game will cause, that you are standing on the tree?

Also:
Did you know, that you can re-enter the S.S. Anne?
Just visit the kaptain, get HM 01 and battle someone and lose.
This will cause the S.S. Anne to stay, where it is.

Later you can go there (Optional with a low lv pokemon to lose on the boat again) with a pokemon knowing surf and you can have a nice look at the truck standing there.
Maybe there is a mew under it? who knows... Dont be a fool...

Last one:

Did you know, that you can enter route 17 without even having a bike?
Just keep hitting left, when the guard wants to talk to you.
There is a fraction of a second, where he talks, that you have to come back, then you must hit left to run left, he talks again and there you go, you can enter route 17 without having a bike.

When you enter route 17, you automaticly have a bike.

See ya Tongue

Why?

Because there is an unlimited amount of facts about Pokémon.

In Generation I, despite the fact that the move existed at the time and even though it was repeatedly stated to attack using licks, Lickitung could not learn Lick.

Pokemon Emerald was the last game ever to have a colored cartridge.

Well.. you cant say, the new games actually comes with a cardridge.. Just cards.
But yea they could have colored them, but im pretty sure they will do that in the future.

Did you know, that there is a "Missingno" for items too?
Its called "Teru sama" and can be sold at every marked for 17.400$.

Did you know, that there is a virus for Pokemon, called Pokerus?
This is an extremly (EXTREMLY) rare type of status, that a pokemon could get.
The chance to encounter a wild pokemon with Pokerus is 1:21845 (1/3 the chance for a shiny)
When a pokemon has Pokerus in your team, it can infect other pokemons in your team for a period of time (Max 15 days i think). In this status it gains more EV points after a levelup, it doesnt harm your Pokemon at all.
The Pokerus exist in gen 2 and above.
