Yeah, but don't objectify me because of it! I'm no floozy!

Unless... y'know... you buy me dinner.

Her chest.

No, seriously I have no idea. I'm guessing she's just some booth babe for Konami and whatever they're hawking this year (Metal Gear Solid, it looks).

Just wondered, it looked like a very SPECIFIC slutty costume. Look at those gloves. That's no generic booth babe slut costume, surely?

I don't recognize the clothes she is wearing if that's what you are asking.

There is a very specific "amount of intentionally slutty clothing to boner response" ratio that goes into these kinds of things. I sincerely doubt she is there to serve no other purpose than to hold a sign whose meaning she probably doesn't even understand and look sexy to attract mouthbreathers with big wallets over to the Konami booth, take a few awkward photos for their Facebook, and then wink and pose provocatively to get them to give two shits about the new MGS game.

Yeah, just wondered. It looked like something cos-playish, but nothing I recognise. And I'd be a dirty liar if I said I didn't look at those boobies.

I'm not the kind of person that goes to these events. I'm surprised that the whole booth babe thing is still going. I've been to a strip club exactly once in my life and it was amazingly depressing. I equate booth babes with that, cos...that's their job, isn't it? They're just more softcore.

Well... the REAL reason she's there is because gamers will think that hot girls like Konami or something... even thought they don't. Then, the gamers will think that by buying the games from Konami, hot girls will love them.

But if you're smart, you know that it PROBABLY won't happen. Especially if you're in a comic-con. Most of the cute girls there usually already have boyfriends (I heard enough stories from friends to confirm that -_-")

Yeah, I get the concept of booth babes. I just wondered if she was advertising something specific, like a particular game. It just looks like she's dressed in some kind of costume, rather than generic slut-gear.

I can't think of anything creepier than imagining someone hitting on and following a booth babe around. That's kind of depraved.

That's furry convention low.

Wait just one minute...there are conventions...for furries, what is wrong with this world? (Also to those wondering what a furry is...look it up, because anyone on here who actually knows probably doesn't want to explain it...just be careful of what you click.)

Please don't tell me this is news to you. Sad

There are dozens in the USA alone every year.

Also I can explain a "furry" in PG-13 terms: A "furry" is a person who enjoy artwork and literature pertaining to anthropomorphic (humanlike) animals. Frequently these people have an online avatar ("fursona") that they feel represents who they are. Sometimes they even own a fursuit of that character. Usually "furry" is an adult community riddled with NSFW artwork and literature pertaining to various carnal interests and fetishes.

There you go. Tongue

Also, yours truly belongs to the fandom. So, I'm allowed to make furry jokes for the same reason Asians can make Asian jokes and black people can say those "black people be all _____ but white people be all like _____" jokes.

It wasn't exactly news that was...I don't know how to put this but it didn't exactly feel like something that would be unbelievable but it just seems like that should really be a more private matter (where as I will not go into my preferences) but the news of dozens around the USA every year is some pretty surprising news, you think there would be less considering the topic.

Furries don't understand privacy.

Doesn't this only apply to America? I've yet to go to a gaming/comic/nerd convention where we've ever had booth babes...

Granted booth babes are pointless but it doesn't stop heads turning.

I've been to some small town anime conventions and one big gaming convention here. None of the anime conventions had booth babes (a few slutty-dressed girls filled the place, though) and the gaming convention had a few booth babes. But most booths had serious personal (you know, like, dressed in a normal uniform and ready to answer your questions) to show you their games and products. And people were more interested in knowing about the games themselves. And getting Yoshinori Ono's autograph.

Those events are cool, with or without booth babes. My only complaint is that they're always too overcrowded. In this gaming convention I've been, I got lost from my friends quite a couple times, and it always took me quite a while to find any of them.

I have never actually taken a picture of a boothbabe. How odd.
