Rubbish things from great people. - Beardy - 07-12-2012 10:42 AM

I love The Beach Boys. Musical genius. However, the only reason I love their song "Kokomo" is because it's hilariously bad (fitting as the song is for the hilariously bad Cocktail).

Ditto with David Bowie and a most of his post-80s career.

Don't limit this to just music, though. What great people have produced utter, embarrassing turds that make you ashamed to be a fan?

Ha David Bowie. Shoutouts to China Girl >: (

Lets see hmm[Image: th_hmm.png]:

Linking Park collaborating with Jay-Z.
John Lennon - Number 9
Nintendo Wii Music....(Why!?)
Street Fighter x Tekken. One of the most horrendous pieces of over hyped moose wank ever.
R.I.P Pokemon [Image: 563.png] Quite fitting actually since it's an Egyptian Sarcophagus.
All the new Marvel films. Captain America and Thor ESPECIALLY. Stop it Hollywood! Stop it! Please...
Liking Anime. What we have now though.......
The Transformers film. I feel like a wanker for liking the cartoon now
I'll leave you with one final image and I'm sure you know exactly where I'm going with this

NINTENDO. Just for the godawful management of the 3DS.

My main beef with Nintendo right now is them releasing a bunch of games for DS rather than 3DS. They could even release them on both, damn. It wouldn't even take up much of their resources.

THANK YOU. I want more 3DS games!

It's so frustrating having a 3DS. The official apology for early adopters was a bunch of (admittedly great) old games. I'm weirded out that they're releasing the 3DS XL... rather than actually waiting for a bit and designing a console that doesn't need a clunky circle-pad that covers up the stylus holder. But that's business, I guess.

I love my 3DS, but seriously, Nintendo, take a breath and think about the next iteration for a while rather than just rushing a bigger one out. And please, give us some games for it.

I don't care what anyone says, I love the entirety of Bowie's career.

As for what I think is rubbish.... everything Def Leppard did after High 'n Dry (except for a few songs on Pyromania. They went from an amazing rock sound to a terrible pop/ballad orientated one. High 'n Dry remains one of my favorite albums of all time, but they just turned so... terrible afterwards.

Here is what I mean:

And on a similar not, bands who had moderate success during the 80's and later faded out - who continue to tour around playing bars and pubs. I mean, sure Molly Hatchet was cool one, but oh my god stop trying to be relevant!

I'm not ashamed of liking this game, but White Knight Chronicles by Level 5.
They made the Dark Cloud series but thats all I know of.

So many people hated WKC but I love it.

Oh god, Shyamalan's movies. They suck so much, and the "twist" endings are actually a bit predictable. And that god-awful Airbender movie he did....makes me feel like watching an Uwe Boll movie. At least those are intentionally bad.

And also, I don't care if anyone agrees on this, but I really don't care for the Fallout and Elder Scrolls games. To me, they're boring and poorly paced in terms of story, since I can spend months in-game doing absolutely nothing, and the bad guy is still inside the same bar, waiting for me to walk in, only so he can leave the city.

Since you're back, Seriously, I feel I should mention Schumacher's post-comeback career.
