Minecraft villagers and Wind waker - Martan - 07-08-2012 07:24 AM The villagers in Minecraft is probably a reference to the "owl people" (Rito) in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker I have tried to get this into the trivia in the Minecraft wiki, but they claim that I don't have enough evidence to prove it. Do you need more than this picture? But they do claim that the Iron Golem in Minecraft is a reference to the movie Laputa: Castle in the sky. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Iron_Golem RE: Minecraft villagers and Wind waker - Giratina - 07-08-2012 07:32 AM I honestly don't see it. All they have in common is dark skin, a big nose, and crossed arms. RE: Minecraft villagers and Wind waker - Davine - 07-08-2012 08:09 AM Naaa. RE: Minecraft villagers and Wind waker - Martan - 07-08-2012 08:12 AM Seriously? There's white villagers too RE: Minecraft villagers and Wind waker - Giratina - 07-08-2012 08:52 AM While I can, possibly, see why you might connect them I still don't see it as being a reference to the Rito. RE: Minecraft villagers and Wind waker - Sohakmet - 07-08-2012 09:28 AM Why not just ask the creator of the game through twitter? RE: Minecraft villagers and Wind waker - SirCheesedip - 07-08-2012 09:38 AM If they were a reference to Ritos, shouldn't they be able to fly and be mailmen? RE: Minecraft villagers and Wind waker - Nuudoru - 07-08-2012 10:47 AM You are the reason I don't trust wikia sites without source. RE: Minecraft villagers and Wind waker - DidYouKnowGaming - 07-10-2012 02:54 AM Seems too vague. They could just be referencing monks. |
