If you manage to find all the star in BRAID,you can actually catch up to the Princess but once you touch her she will nuke herself,this could ethier be a reference to a nuclear bomb as further evidence point out.

There's a huge amount of theorys about this and a lot of various theories about the theory. The ending to Braid was a bit too confusing.
