I don't watch films much, but films from the eighty's and ninety's are great.

But I'd probably say the Back to the Future trilogy has some of my favorite films I've ever watched.

Oh, and Robocop, never forget that guy.

FIGHT CLUB!
Cult classic, its genius and amazingly made.

TOY STORY 1-3
I love them all equally, they're aboslutely amazing and the third one is amazingly teary.

MONSTERS INC!
Im such a child, but I bloody love Monsters Inc, a classic, its touching and also pretty teary. Cant wait for its sequel next year.

I also really love the film Love Exposure, many of you probably wont know about it but its just a fantastic movie, which has every genre in it. Its very teary at the end.

Oh, and definately Inception, Star Trek, The Departed, Big Fish (aswell), The Stars Wars Trilogy, Scott Pilgrim VS The World, Akira, The Spiderman Trilogy, and of course Ghost in The Shell.

DragonHeart is probably my favorite movie ever. I saw it in theaters when I was a kid and the ending ruined my weekend. (Spoilers if you somehow haven't seen it yet: Draco sacrifices himself and his soul becomes a part of the constellation Draco.)

It's a popular movie among folks who like dragons, heh. It was a very important and personal movie to a friend of mine who passed in a vehicular accident last year and a lot of his personal friends pitched in and did one of those "name a star after someone" things. They specifically picked out a star in Draco to name after him.

And I had JUST gotten over getting all emotional at the end of the movie. Seems kinda silly that we all have such an attachment to a single movie, but I am now reminded of my friend every time I watch it, but in a good way.

Holy shit I had forgotten all about that movie. I need to watch it ASAP. It's only human to cry during the ending!

If you do not cry at the end of DragonHeart then that means you are not human. In the future, this is how we will test to see if you are a robot replicant or not.

We should make it a captcha.

Watchmen

RE: Favorite Movie - Zaliphone - 08-11-2012 05:22 AM

Scott Pilgrim, any Avenger movie, especially Thor and Captain America, Zombieland, Toy Story Trilogy, Harry Potter movies, Back to the Future movies...there are many others. This could be such a long list.

RE: Favorite Movie - A Zombie Riot - 08-11-2012 05:25 AM

way too many to list.

RE: Favorite Movie - DrZaius - 08-12-2012 06:34 AM

The Princess Bride.

This is a movie that should be in everyone's movie library. If you don't like this movie, then you're missing the part of your soul that makes you human.

Also, Signs and Babe. Those movies always bring a tear to my eye socket.

RE: Favorite Movie - Ouberry_13 - 08-12-2012 06:55 AM

I don't have a favorite movie, just like with games. I just have some that I love to watch whenever, along with those guilty pleasure movies.
I have far too many to list, again like my list of games. So, I shall only list a few, to give you people an understanding.
Beauty and the Beast
Princess Bride
The Thing(the 1980s version, not that crappy 2011 remake/prequel)
Lion King(simply for the childhood nostalgia, as it was the very first movie I can remember watching)
Most movies by the Pixar studio
Most movies from Studio Ghibli.
And much, much more that I do not care to list.

No one laugh at me! I swear to god I watch movies aimed at adults too, but I'm also kind of an immature little goon and adore animation.

My favorite movie of all time is The Brave Little Toaster. I actually appreciate now more as an adult because I get the obscure references that are made plus I now know who Thurl Ravenscroft is; his voice is just amazing whether he's speaking or singing.

I also like Pete's Dragon a lot. Most of the older Disney movies are pretty great.

Rocky Horror and Chicago are up there on my lists too. I prefer older sounding music so they fit my tastes perfectly.
