How geeky do you think you are? - Beardy - 07-06-2012 09:35 AM

Just wondered. I reckon I'm probably about 40%.

HMM.. Maybe 57.5%. Definitely got my fair share of geeky items.

It's difficult to quantify geekiness isn't it? I'm geeky about certain things.

Yeah, just some random number I put. Its hard because I don't like everything. Like some tech stuff is pretty eye-catching for me, but some I could care less.

One does not simply put a number to geekiness. Although if I had to, I wouldn't. I would just say "Very."

Extremely geeky but, balance I like balance it out (doing outdoor activites for example). Being a geek is better anyway. I'd rather be "that guy" playing games than "that guy who got drunk". Big Grin

I'd say 100% when I'm alone. Tongue

There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I guess I am geeky enough to get this joke, and to be able to read binary clocks and all that.

I don't really quantify geekiness, it's not really a label I seek out. I just like what I like... and a lot of what I like happens to revolve around computers, gaming, and education.

I'm as 'geeky' as people tell me I am. I'm diverse in my 'nerdiness'.

Not really the best way of measuring if your a geek or not but I understand the joke.

I feel that I am probably very geeky but in school I turn the geek notch down a big amount...

I don't seem like a nerd until someone mentions something that gets me going. Like if anyone tries to say that Dragonball is a bad shounen manga.

Yeah I do that too actually, If someone mentions the Sega Saturn I instantly give them respect points Tongue

ehm ... pretty geeky ?

I would call myself a nerd, not a geek. For me, being a geek means that you are good with electronic stuff. But I suck at it, I'm only very, very good at videogames. So, I'm a mega nerd ^_^
