Yoshi's Island - Oot Music Similarity. - DHXIII - 07-03-2012 08:24 PM

As an avid player of both Yoshi's island and Zelda:Ocarina of Time I would like to say I found this one myself when I was very young. (I am not saying I was the first to find it I'm just saying I noticed it myself.
Anyway, if you listen to the two songs they have an obvious similarity.

I think that the only real thing that I can really notice is that the rhythm is similar, but nothing more than that.

Wow they start off the exact same, the bass (correct term? not the lead melody...idk) is the exact same. Nice find.

The main melody is different but the backing chord progression is the same.
