Anybody here follow/watch the NBA. If you've been keeping up with the free agency trades Atlanta and Danny Ferry have pretty much trolled the NBA today

I stopped watching the NBA when Jordan left... the first time.

I've caught bits and pieces since then. I'm just going to assume the Minnesota Timberwolves have become the most dominant team ever.

Well I watched Space Jam. Does that count?

RE: NBA - Melirune - 07-04-2012 02:47 PM

I remember seeing that in theaters. Michael Jordan was drafted to the Toon Squad, so yeah, it counts.

I'm a Lakers fan. <3

Really happy that we got Steve Nash. I'm actually more curious as to how he'll help Gasol and Bynum (Or Howard...hopefully not) out, since we know Kobe can create his own shots anyways.

I really don't want the Lakers to trade for Howard. He's a ridiculous drama queen, although this whole mess could be equally blamed on Orlando's management as well. We're gonna be stuck with a very talented, yet immature idiot for a center, so why not stick with the homegrown idiot who's spent his entire career thus far with the Lakers? Bynum's only gonna get better anyways.

As for non-Laker news, I feel really bad for Scola. He busted his ass for the Rockets and was more than worth his contract, but just got amnestied because they gotta get Howard, right?

I wonder what'll happen to the franchise when old Nash ages into dust in the middle of the season. Big Grin

LOL I hope not. Nash has always been ten years younger than he really is, now's not the season for it to stop happening. D;

The Suns won Scola off the amnesty auction, and the Knicks are supposedly not going to match Houston's deal for Lin.

hell yeah i watch NBA. Denver is gonna kill it in a few season, but right now, it's either Miami, Thunder or Lakers now that they have Steve Nash. But right now, it's time to turn our attention to the Olympics to see USA dominate. Again.

RE: NBA - gsninja - 07-20-2012 12:59 PM

Seriously, USA is stupidly stacked. Kobe, LeBeta, and Durant by themselves are enough.
