I'm actually pissed at that fact since I've had them for 2 years, and I think I have £40 worth.

...and then you get there to redeem them and it's actually 40p and you throw a bag of M&Ms at an old lady.

Gonna check the paper headlines tomorrow for that story!

It would probably make the front page of the Daily Mail. A site I like to consult from time to time whenever I need my dose of really important English news.

The current top story
"Inside Britain's FAT ward: Where clinically obese patients weighing as much as 47-stone are treated with reinforced wheelchairs and industrial weighing scales"

I just heard on the radio that someone did an actual research on who is the most American super hero and... Drum roll please... It's Captain America.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go slap a researcher with a trout.

You would love the Ig Nobel prizes. It's like the Nobel prize but for ridiculous (but totally serious) research

My favourite - "MEDICINE PRIZE: Emmanuel Ben-Soussan and Michel Antonietti [FRANCE] for advising doctors who perform colonoscopies how to minimize the chance that their patients will explode."

Thanks for the link, I'll be checking that out.

I laughed out loud when I read that favorite of yours xD

I think a couple good ones from a few years past were when I heard about some Swedish university researching if earth worms feel pain (turns out they don't) and some million dollar reasearch that resulted in the statement that fat people aren't as healthy as skinny people. That last one hurt my brains.

Probably, but it's a little old dude, like I had seen that about a month back, it's not that it isn't cool it's just that videos from CaptainSparklez kinda get seen right away by everyone, especially Minecraft music videos, although the original video was blocked by YouTube to almost every country, and here's a video explaining why.

RE: The Free Thread - A Zombie Riot - 12-12-2012 10:28 AM

I didn't realize it was that old. I just noticed that CaptainSparklez did a minecraft song on Gangnam Style when he was in the Minecraft skit at the VGA's (he got shot by Samuel L Jackson).

Yeah. But I'm so tired of Gangnam Style that I want to puke.

Ja ja. Video has been out for a few months now. Don't actually know much about CaptainSparklez but damn he's pretty upset and rightly so. Copyright is serious BS.

Today is the last day we'll have the same numbers in the date, for ten years.

12/12/12

Also, last time in 10 years, America and England will have the same date format.

RE: The Free Thread - Berry - 12-13-2012 06:56 AM

Yesterday,i visited a friend of mine to watch his rented blockbuster dvd. While we were watching superman returns, he for some reason mention the walking dead. He told me if i watch the prevoius episode and told him i don't watch the series.Afterwards he give me a face as in "what is wrong with you".He was shock that he switch to his dvr and tuned to the walking dead. I would've enjoyed it had he not stop giving me lecture about how was it made(like one of those fanboys).I was really annoyed so i told him that if we can just watch club fight. And that was my yesterday.

RE: The Free Thread - Mass Distraction - 12-13-2012 08:28 AM

I should propably not watch Adventure Time during night hours. I seem to get all soul-searchy.

I got to the latest episode of season 5. Need more.

I just finished an essay I've been working on for the past few days. It's absolute garbage and I even felt bad sending it in. Hopefully the vocabulary will be enough for me to pass. I don't want to take a look at it again and rework it..

It's better than handing in nothing. I hate papers...and exams, of which one I should be revising for. Foundations of Computations.... [Image: ResidentSleeper.png]
